Dr. Jorge Garrote, PT, DPT, COMT, ACSM CEP
Dr. Jorge Garrote was born in Cuba and raised in Spain. He attended Barry University for undergraduate studies in exercise physiology and graduated in 2012. During his time at Barry University he was involved in the Strength and Conditioning for the Athletics Department. He received his Certified Exercise Physiology with the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Garrote graduated from Florida International University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 with a focus in the orthopedic population; obtaining a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Hobbies include spear fishing, soccer, and travel.
Amanda Pina, MS,OTR/L, CHT
Amanda Pina graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida International University in 2010. Amanda went on to obtain her Master of Occupational Therapy from Barry University and graduated with Honors in 2013. Amanda is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Amanda has an additional certification in Orthopedic Physician Extender. Amanda has achieved the highest recognition in upper extremity treatment by earning a Certification in Hand Therapy. Amanda has worked in a variety of settings, however her passion for orthopedics brought her to OrthoNOW Doral Rehab in Fall 2018.
Angela Villada, COTA/L
Angela is a certified occupational therapy assisted who graduated from Keiser University in 2015. Angela joined OrthoNOW Doral Rehab in Spring 2017. She has vast experience in the outpatient orthopedic setting treating from a simple condition to an extremely complex surgery. Angela offers a patient centered, hands on therapy approach, nurturing recovery in the most gentle and rapid manner.
Arley Avila Prieto, PTA
Arley graduated from Dade Medical College in 2015 with his Associates in Physical Therapy Assistant. Arley has been working on out patient orthopedics since 2015. Arley takes a hands-on approach with his patients, ensuring superior care is given to all. Arley is very experienced in all orthopedic conditions. He is planning to start his Manual Therapy Certification in early 2019.
