OrthoNOW Orthopedic Urgent Care, a locally owned and operated urgent care center, hosted its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, May 11th at its new Savannah location.
The OrthoNOW center is conveniently located at 11102 Abercorn Street, in front of Lowe’s. Members of the community were invited to tour the new state of the art facility and meet the staff, including the center’s medical director, Jonathan Shults, MD, who is board certified in both general orthopedics and sports medicine.
“OrthoNOW allows us to provide better patient care from the initial visit. Instead of making a costly trip to the emergency room or urgent care facility—only to be told to follow-up with an orthopedic surgeon—patients at OrthoNOW receive appropriate care on site. The concept is efficient, cost-effective, and results in more focused treatment,” explains Dr. Shults.
OrthoNOW is an orthopedic urgent care center designed to offer a total orthopedic solution to patients on a walk-in basis. Patients at OrthoNOW can be assured that their injuries will be treated by a specialist in a stress-free, welcoming environment. The center is equipped with digital imaging equipment and offers the latest techniques and treatments to cover injuries to the foot, ankle, spine, knee, hand and shoulder. OrthoNOW is able to provide care for fractures, concussions and lacerations, which often times result in long waits and a pricey trip to the emergency room.
Patients suffering from flesh wounds and full body soft tissue injuries can now be treated at OrthoNOW under the direction of Cliff Cannon, MD, a board certified plastic surgeon.
OrthoNOW offers affordable self-pay rates and accepts most insurance, so a visit can be as simple as a co-pay. OrthoNOW is open 9AM to 8PM Monday through Saturday.
