Do take credit cards?
Yes. In fact, you must enter your credit card information prior to the televisit.
Will I be charged for a no-show?
We don’t currently charge for that. We haven’t had an issue with no-shows.
When should I go online for my scheduled televisit?
10-15 minutes before the start time
Can my family be present for a televisit?
This is your choice. If you feel your loved one(s) presence would be helpful, we encourage them to be in the room. However, if you do not want them present due to privacy reasons that is also ok.
Do I have to be in Florida at the time of the televisit?
Yes, our clinicians are licensed in the state of Florida. So regardless of your home state, you must be on Florida soil at the time of the visit.
What is a telemedicine visit?
Telehealth (or telemedicine) involves the distribution of health-related services and information via electronic technology. A telemedicine visit is a video call with a patient and clinician over a secure network. Sometimes this is referred to as a televisit or virtual visit.
Why would I make a telemedicine appointment?

Is this covered by insurance?
Insurance sometimes covers some telehealth visits in some states. The laws are being changed in Florida to make it easier to use your insurance for telehealth visits. In the meantime, we’ve established a low price and expect to be able to accept insurance in 2020.
What equipment do I need?
Smartphone is best, but an ipad/tablet will work. Strong wifi or mobile connection
