OrthoNOW and Uber partnered with the goal of allowing patients to request and ride to the nearest center when other transportation is not available or practical, such as after having sustained an injury to a hand, arm, leg, or foot. The app was designed to enhance the experience of patients of our orthopedic urgent care centers, even before they arrive to our facilities.
As MedCity News wrote, “the 50+ Innovation Leaders truly embody the entrepreneurial spirit and have gone above and beyond in the field of improving healthcare services for those aged 50 and older. A common goal of many of the 50+ Innovation Leaders was modernizing patient care to meet the needs of today’s mobile world.”
